The Project

Design & Build project of a cliff palaeo channel that had been mantled with non-engineered fill. Seepage from gravel lenses resulted in softening and failure of the fill and natural clay.

Using roped access operatives, Quantum installed Ischebeck 30/ 16 soil nails to provide support to the cliff face. A gabion mattress drainage detail was constructed reusing site won material providing the client with savings on tipping costs.
