The existing slope had failed, and Amey Mouchel on behalf of the Highways Agency , designed a soil nailed stabilisation solution.

Laser Civil Engineering were awarded the main contract.

Quantum were appointed specialist sub-contractor to undertake the slope stabilisation works. These comprised:

· Supply and installation of 600no hollow bar self-drilled soil nails (Dywidag R32 MAI bar, 7m to 9m long)

· Supply and fix 2500m2 of coir matting

· Supply and fix 3000m2 of Maccaferri rock netting
