Quantum Contract Value: Approximately £2,500,000

Quantum carried out the following works on the project:

· Ground Investigation for the Milford Haven to Aberdulais section (120km approximately)

· Mineworks remediation (drilling and grouting)

· Shaft grouting

· Tunnel pre-grouting (waterproofing)

· Tunnel annulus grouting

· Foam concrete

· Treatment of mine adits

All the above works were undertaken in phases over a three year period, and working closely with the main contractor and client.

Health, safety and environmental matters were paramount, and the works were undertaken without any incidents.
